Burger Cake
The picture is not very clear but this cake was a joy to make for my first try. The lifelike look of the burger is astonishing. From the making of the bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese to the actual bbq look of the burger meat was fiddly but it shows how effective it looks.
Next time, i wud add more colour to the bun look to make it more bread like rather than d pale look it has. I have avoided using as much fondant on d bread and burger just so dat we have more cake than fondant.
Being that halloween is on its way, i just made some spider, ghost, bat and witches hat for the cupcake.

Pirate Cake
Another week and another cake inspiration and this time its a Pirate cake matey with some little pirate cupcake friends.

Gift Box Cake
This cake has been inspired by thrawling youtube to get inspired for something to do as practice.
The cake is a Red Velvet one with buttercream icing in the centre covered with royal icing in mint green. the bow was also handmade in cream colour with some embellishments of silver beads and butterflies.
I would say not bad for my first solo attempt after 2 days over 2 weeks of part time cake decoration course.

handbag with a difference
Wk 2 of my cake decoration lesson and I have manage to come out with an handbag to dance the night away. While creating my designer handbag with studs, I remembered my yellow lipstick and nail varnish for topups during the night.
The high heel flip flops was garnished with a little stud to give it that extra glitter. As time goes by, I would be able to come up with more extra ordinary designs to blow the mind away.

Novelty Cake
My first attempt of covering a cake with sugar paste, creating a teddy bear and number 1 from scratch. Am so impress with myself and it looks very yummy and delicate. Imagine what I would be able to do at the end of a 5 week course. The sky is def not the limit. Thousands of ideas flooding through my brain. Never would I need to splash out loads of money for kids birthday cake or cakes for family and friends. I just need to use them as my guinea pig to practice on to get better. Watch this space for more picture uploads.
